Prologue - Wednesday March 23rd MECH IRDANE / MECH IRDANE – ideal distance 45 km – estimated minimum time 2:50 A half-leg with only 3 checkpoints, providing a gentle initiation and a taste of the daily routine of the days to come. The route offers a mix of well-defined landscapes, a oued and some wide flat plains: easy enough to allow the competitors to get their bearings. And the joy and relief of finding the bivouac at the end of the route… The Prologue will give rise to an initial ranking, used only to determine the departure order of the teams for the next day.
